Intermittent fasting

What is the time frame to fast for it to be beneficial? Is there too much or too little of time between meals? Can you snack, or does that make it null & void? Can you drink anytime other than water during your fast time? How big should your before & after meals be? Can this be hazardous? So many questions; looking forward to all y'all's answers!

Se segui il metodo 16/8, si tratta di seguire un digiuno giornaliero di 16 ore, ma hai 8 ore per mangiare dai 2 ai 3 pasti. L'importante è che il tutto si svolga entro quelle 8 ore

Most people do 16/8, and yes you can snack and eat anything within the 8 hours. You can drink water anytime. It usually does no harm but if you have a high level of exercise in the morning it can be dangerous when you dont have breakfast so it depends on your routine.

Maybe if you follow a morning exercise routine it is better not to skip breakfast and having a coffee alone is not cutting the fast, the best is to drink tea, coffee or vegetable broth and then eat normal food, I think that 8 hours of fasting is more than enough. But it is stipulated 16h to follow it well.
