Does the high blood pressure be inherited?

My late father was high blood pressure and took medicine regularly to control blood pressure.

I am young and healthy yet, and I am always aware of blood pressure. Even though I try to eat healthy and work out regularly, my bloody pressure is a little bit high.

So, I am wondering, is the high blood pressure hereditary?

Yes and no. Having a family member with high blood pressure make you a high risk. You can still prevented it if you watch your diet, exercise and minimize you stress level you have a lesser chance of developing it.

Può essere generata da fattori genetici ereditari certamente ma è risaputo che la causa principale che porta l'ipertensione è l'obesità e l'eccessiva introduzione di sale...

L'ipertensione potrebbe anche essere ereditaria. Ma non è detto.

Yes, you have a high risk of having high blood pressure if your family member(s) had one.

Most of my friends with hypertension have a parent with high blood pressure.
I think the reason is that their eating habits are similar and have the same heredity.
