Yes and no. Having a family member with high blood pressure make you a high risk. You can still prevented it if you watch your diet, exercise and minimize you stress level you have a lesser chance of developing it.
My late father was high blood pressure and took medicine regularly to control blood pressure.
I am young and healthy yet, and I am always aware of blood pressure. Even though I try to eat healthy and work out regularly, my bloody pressure is a little bit high.
So, I am wondering, is the high blood pressure hereditary?
