Is high blood pressure genetic?

I generally have very low blood pressure from walking so much.  But people on both sides of my family can reach 90 if they stay away from smoking and other bad habits.  I have not looked into high blood pressure because it is not something that people in my family deal with.

Il fattore genetico è una delle cause dell'ipertensione. Anche se la principale causa la si addita ad una cattiva alimentazione....

Yes. According to my doctor, it can see but there are other contributing factors. For instance I ignored family history because my dad's family were all over weight, sedintary and live with unhealthy lifestyle. I am active, a healthy eater, and live  a healthy life style. Nevertheless, in my early 50s I developed High blood pressure just like my dad's side of the family. My doctor, because practice for 40 years, explain that it was nothing I do wrong and nothing I can do at this point such as y extra exercise  or diet change.  sJust bad genes. I wouldn't know if it wasn't for a regular check up.

I think it is genetic especially if you don't eat right or exercise.

Yes, high blood pressure can be genetic. If your parents or close family members have high blood pressure, you might be at a higher risk of developing it too. However, lifestyle factors like diet, exercise, and avoiding smoking also play a significant role

È probabile che l'ipertensione possa essere generate da fattori generici

As far as I understand, yes, it can be hereditary.  Both my parents had (dad) & have (mom) high blood pressure.  Even though it can be passed on, each person can still control their own levels by following a Doctor's advice.  If you ever question the methods or have issues then just get clear instructions again.  Sometimes it's hard to do the right things but in the end, you're responsible for your own choices.

Yes, high blood pressure is genetic. Living a healthy lifestyle can help offset it though.
