I've had that happen as a glitch but it soon resolves itself.  Try emailing support services.

That's so frustrating situation. Just close and try again.

I know sometimes my app doesn't count steps correctly. I usually restart the app and it helps

Try uninstalling and reinstalling app. 

Have you tried restarting the app. Mine seems fine
