Wtf Nintendo coins changed

Well my goal all winter was just to get the Nintendo gift card for my Son at 6000 coins, go figure it just upped to Ten thousand coins . I'm kinda pissed, why did this happen? I was 500 coins away.

    I hear you. I needed 400 coins yesterday to get a $5.00 Amazon GC and up it went from 3000 to 5000. So, I went to work today, with my 700 coins for doing a challenge and did the earn coins for visiting websites. I'm now the owner of that $5.00 GC... which I added to my account for a baby shower gift.
