American Trumpet Vine

This plant is really prolific in one area of my yard, and even going into the neighbor's yard ๐Ÿ˜… (they don't seem to mind). I was very delighted to learn that it's a native plant and is attracting hummingbirds!American Trumpet VineAmerican Trumpet VineAmerican Trumpet Vine

The hummingbirds do like them. In my area of Texas, the prime time for hummingbirds is late September through the first cooler weather. They are migrating.ย

I'll have to actually look up prime hummingbird time for me (in Maryland). I've seen one, but I'd like to do my part to make sure I get to see more ๐Ÿ˜†ย
