    I love this bloom!  It looks similar to Salvia or purple Sage.  Are they the same thing?

      No. I've had both salvia and Sage. The fragrance is what sets this apart. Sciebtname is "Buddleja is a genus comprising over 140 species of flowering plants endemic to Asia, Africa, and the Americas." from Wikipedia.
