I love both, in some cases I want something crunchy, I go for waffles, in other times I want something fluffy, I go for pancakes. it depends on my mood

It depends upon my mood. One of the good things with pancakes is that you can have them rise (thickness) you want plus even folding them over with fruit or a jelly. I love both semi crunchy and soft waffles. I can't decide.
