In a way I miss waiting tables. The fun was meeting people and the craziness of a Friday or Saturday. Bad part, carrying heavy trays. My back won't allow it any more.

      Of course it does depend upon the establishment but your money days, as far as tips are concerned, is Fridays and Saturdays. And yes, it can be really good. Sometimes on Thursday. The worse day is Monday as people already spent their checks from the week before.

Another downside is putting up with the bu!!$h9t from customers being rude and obnoxious. You're often looked down on and definitely need to have a tough skin.
