Took one of my daughters and two of my granddaughters to the zoo today. The bird walkabout was a great chance to see birds up close. Very colorful. Zoo in Tyler, TexasZoo in Tyler, Texas

    Today was a good day to visit the zoo. The rain lowered the temperature so its tolerable.  Hope you had fun.

    Yes, the clouds and occasional showers made it very comfortable.

    Those are adorable. I've never seen ones with those colors. Just have pigeons and then white, black, & brown birds around here for the most part.

    Very beautiful birds!  I would think July would be too hot in Texas to go to the zoo!

    It looks like a great place to visit. I used to have parakeets as a child.
