Deer having its own morning commute

Last couple of mornings, have spotted deer crossing light to moderate trafficked roads. Today,  I saw one crossing a highway. Fortunately the morning commute traffic was rather light but it was interesting to watch.

    I almost hit a deer that suddenly appeared.

      Yes, that is scary. I did years ago and it was late at night. After riding up the hood to hit the windshield (it shattered), it dropped off to the side and i didn't see it. I don't know of it actually died aittle ways away or not as I went to by that way the next morning and didn't see it anywhere.

    I have to drive carefully where I live especially during the summer. Lots of deer in Maine.

    Luckily there were not too much traffic in the morning, otherwise they will get hurt ;'(
