Preparing for my indoor winter garden

I know it's  only August but this is when I start stating out garden seed bargains for winter salads. I try to have a few greens as well as at least 1 cherry tomatoes and one of the mouse melons to sub for cucumbers. Store produce can leave a lot to desire at times.

    Not much. My electric usually runs around $98-$110 a month.

    I have shelving set up in my bedroom with les plant lights. I do pretty well with it. I live in an apartment so container gardening is really the only way I can do things.
