The Levi and Catherine Coffin house had an interesting old outhouse.  It had three places for people to sit.  The last one on the right is extra small for children.  I am thankful for our modern restrooms.  🙂Three Seater

    Yes, that's a bit grim! Reminds me of a Roman privy - they used to have a communal sponge on a stick to wipe with. 🥴

    I don't even like people walking by the closed bathroom door when I'm in there. I can't imagine having to sit through a family "event" like this.
