I've never seen one in my yard, but family members have. I think it's so neat, but of course, be careful!
As I traveled in my car to work, saw a bear in the backyard of a house, getting comfortable. There's been a lot of them being seen this year. Fortunately, no attacks. Pretty much leave them be and let then do what they want to do and they won't bother you.

I have not really seen any bears in this area. But I've read enough articles about it that you are absolutely correct. If you just stay away from them and watch from a distance, they will eventually go away. They are beautiful animals and are only trying to survive in their environment.

I have never seen one in the wild, only in zoos. I'd be very scared if one was near.
