I would like to dye my hair purple.
When getting your hair done? Which color would you choose to do your dye? Would it be like a lighter color or more of a darker color to cover your grays? Or just like that, a robust color just to show off so you can the out there people can see you

I usually go with a lighter color, I feel the contrast looks better against my dark hair, especially since my grays aren’t really visible until I pull my hair back. Although I did a plum color for the fall and it turned out way better than expected! If the color was a bit lighter or if my skin was paler I think I would’ve looked good in a purple or silvery blue color
