Prepare for new Sunday class meeting schedule

• Starting Sept. 6, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will implement a new Sunday meeting schedule with one hour for sacrament meeting, followed by 25-minute sessions for adult and youth Sunday School, and 25-minute meetings for Relief Society, elders quorum, Young Women, and Aaronic Priesthood quorums, separated by five-minute transitions.
• A detailed implementation guide has been provided to ward and stake leaders, outlining preparations for the transition, with specific instructions for Aug. 30 and Sept. 6; the guide and additional resources, including instructional videos, are available on Sunday.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
• On Aug. 30, youth and leaders will watch and discuss a video titled “For the Strength of Youth Curriculum,” while on Sept. 6, both youth and adults will view videos about Sunday School and Sabbath meetings during their Sunday School classes, followed by discussions in Relief Society and elders quorum meetings.
• Youth will begin using the new curriculum on Sept. 6, while Primary classes will continue their usual schedule.
• Elder David P. Homer, General Authority Seventy and executive director of the Priesthood and Family Department, emphasized in a recent podcast how the new schedule and resources will enhance faith and worship among church members.
