Keto Diet - Do I need to count or restrict calories?

I like meat, especially beef. I cannot feel full without taking carbohydrates at first.  So, I eat lots of meat and avocado...I know I eat too much...should be fine to ignore the daily calories in keto diet, right?Keto Diet - Do I need to count or restrict calories?

Did a little searching and it seems that it's acceptable to not count calories in the keto diet. I'm new to keto diet, so take it with a grain of Himalayan salt 😅

It might be a good idea to start off with a meal plan. It will take the guess work out while you adjust to the new diet and if you don't want to count calories that would be fine because you have something to follow.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think you need to restrict calories or anything. It's more about the foods you are consuming...healthier foods can have less calories naturally too.

Even on the keto diet, it's important to monitor your overall calorie intake to avoid hindering weight loss or causing weight gain. Overeating, even keto-friendly foods like meat and avocados, can be counterproductive. Focus on portion control and nutrient-dense foods to maintain a balanced and effective diet.

New to this diet to but I think that not a big portions is the key too. But eat lots of veggies and meat should be good. Maybe if it says you take yo many calories reduce some more calories ingriediens by ather kind of salad.
