What kind of exercise is good/bad for high blood pressure?

Exercises in general are good for health but I wonder are there certain exercise that is beneficial to people with high blood pressure and must avoid for people with high blood pressure?

I'm also curious about the answer but maybe things like walking or meditation would help since they"re calming

I think all exercise is good as it activates blood flow

Running and walking are good for high blood pressure, there aren't any exercises you can't do as they are part of an active and healthy lifestyle.

I asked a similar question in this forum. I had thought that aerobic exercise works work the best, bit now I'm wondering about the benefits of weight lifting.

Swimming is good if you are not in serious high blood pressure.

My father's doctor recommended cardiovascular exercise at least 30 mins a day. Walking, jogging or swimming would be good.

Penso che per chi soffre di ipertensione, sono da preferire sport più moderati

Heavy work outs like weight lifting are NOT good. They put more strain on your heart increaseing your bp. Light workouts such as walking, elliptical, and  biking are much better. Again this is only for high bp.
