Amazon card is sold out... does that happen often?

6 months ago offer was $25 gift card for 10k coins
few month ago reduced availability to $5/$10 cards
last month I redeemed 2 cards at $5 each for 4k coins
now (Aug 30) no rewards offered or available.

All are sold out.
