What a beautiful monstera! I have two fiddle leaf fig cuttings from a plant I gave to a friend that are finally starting to take off.
Have you named your plant? I named the first one to be silly but my kids wanted me to name the two new plants, too. 🤣

Oh cool! How does one take a cutting from a fiddle leaf fig? I have a baby fiddle leaf fig but it's still tiny! Nope I have too many to name.. 🫣🫣

I watched Happyhappyhouseplant on Instagram. Her stories called FLF Chop (from a couple years ago) & FLF Propagation (from a few years before that) taught me how. My fiddle leaf fig was over seven feet tall and going to a new home with higher ceilings, so I decided to propagate two cuttings. I kept them in water for something like 5 or 6 weeks until they had both put out roots, then planted. One has produced two sets of leaves and the other, which was the top of the old plant, has only produced one set. I did the cutting in July. So it's a slow process.
