I tried to redeem 3000 coins. it said 8 needed 500 from walking. I don't have anything from walking, I've done lots ...when do you get rewarded?

I had the same thing happen to me and the only thing you can do is earn 500 coins by walking. It can be accomplished in 3 days (fastest). It took me about a week to get the 500 coins but once I did I didn't have any issues after that.
