I had a similar message happening to me.. And that was because of an error while downloading the app. I suggest if you don't have much to lose to uninstall it and re install it with a different email address. Make sure you are not connected to WiFi with a VPN

Yes. I was in another country for a few weeks.  Now that I think about it, I've had this issue since I've been out of the country. Anyway, the app threw an error and created a new account.
