(M17P04) Original moves, anyone?

Question

The movies these days disappoint me. They are either reboots, remakes, franchises with transparent storylines, or cartoons-turned-movies. I would love to see something original and new.
 
Can anyone recommend movies that do not fall into the description I mentioned?

Too much animation, action adventure, and fantasy type movies anymore for my tastes. I like to watch the old classics.
