Here's something weird about something that is generally thought of as ice cream but is not.
Go into your local Dairy Queen and look for the word ice cream. It's not there. Actually, I think one of the items that you can get in the self-serve freezers says ice cream - maybe the Dilly Bar. But their main product is called Soft Serve, not Soft Ice Cream. I think it has to do with the amount of fat being too low to be counted as ice cream.
(This is in Canada. I'm honestly not sure about any other countries.)
