Are you allergic to plants or foods? I was allergic to fish nuts and eggs I am 47 years old but eventually I outgrew them, now I eat everything I was allergic to...I went to have an allergy test done and I tested positive for mackerel and salmon, nuts and eggs but I can eat them.

No food allergies, but if I get anywhere near poison ivy I break out horribly. Regular over the counter stuff doesn't provide any relief, I have to get steroids from the dr.

Sometimes the body will develop some of its own defenses so that the reactions to certain foods is very minor and barely noticeable. Sone of the initial allergies could have resulted in how specific items were prepared or processed. If fixed a different way or not interact ting with other ingredients, the reaction, if any can also be miniscule. Our body's are amazing at times.
