Frogs

Does anyone have any advice on how to handle frogs? We found a huge one in our backyard but it's in a place where it can't get free on its own, I fear that it fell down from the upstair's neighbor in someway... I don't want it to be stuck there and I would like to set it free but I'm kinda scared๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

It's not hurt nor stuck in a small place, it has plants for cover and I gave it a huge bowl of water but still๐Ÿฅฒ

17.14 - I had frogs/toads (and other animals) get stuck in the window wells of my parent's house in the woods where I grew up. My bedroom was in the finished basement so I would see these creatures and need to help them (big 'ol tree hugging hippy here, although I'm not even 40 years old).
Anyway, depending on where or how the frog is stuck, use a board or something similar to create a ramp for it to hop on/out. You can then catch it in a bucket, Tupperware container, trashcan, ice-cream tub... anything that you can contain AND COVER because the frog will jump.
Another option is to get gloves, I suggest the rubber dishwashing kind that go up to your elbows, and try to catch it. You are going to want to 'corner' it somehow then guide it into a trashcan or bucket and COVER IT till you get to where ever you are releasing it.
    Good luck!

Generally frogs are free spirits and will seek shade, shelter and moisture. ย Should be OK for you to leave it but if you know your neighbour is missing a pet frog then let him know you've seen one.
