Death Valley had the hottest temperature ever recorded. Scientists are still trying to validate the 130F from our heat wave recently. The news reported that the Furnace Creek Visitors Center had an influx of tourist wanting to experience the heat. This was a recent date but not the record. Glad I wasn't there that day!
