Saito, imprenditore nel campo dell'energia, scopre il talento di Cobb e lo assolda per affossare la multinazionale del suo rivale Fischer. In che modo? L'inception; cioè sfruttare la capacità di entrare nella mente altrui per "innestare" l'idea, nell'erede di Fischer, di smantellare la società per seguire il suo percorso personale. Ci riuscirà?
