16. Saffron is costly one but most people sell fake
What is your favorite spice? I heard saffron is the most expensive spice but i didnt really smell much. I like rosemary

Saffron is mostly a coloring, although some people say it taste a little like eggs. I don't think so and really don't care for it. It's expensive because of the crocus flower puts out very few stamen, the pollen part of the flower, which is the saffron.
