Accuracy of steps

I am noticing that the steps on the app are not accurate compared to Apple Watch or Apple Health or my indoor Treadmill. Anyone else?

Mine is usually fairly accurate but lately it freezes often and misses anywhere from 500-2k steps before I catch it.I think the app itself is quite accurate as its always within 50 steps of both Samsung health, Google fit and My smartwatch the issue for me is when counter freezes.Maybe that's what's happening to yours too?

My app is reflecting 6500 and my Apple Watch is at 15k steps. Def not accurate for today.

Wow that's a huge difference!! I check it often as it's happening so much lately I guess if it has frozen it could theoretically miss that much but I don't often walk or run that far.I'd keep checking it often to make sure it hasn't frozen, if you don't notice it has and its still way off I don't know if you could do anything about it tbh, maybe email support but don't even think they could do much.

Not so sure as I don't use anything else regularly aside from this app.

I don't think the Apple Watch is accurate after I notice that if you move your hand it also count steps.. What I realized is even if you are not moving but your hands are they are still counting it as steps. Whereas, the app you have to take steps to be counted. Not sure if anyone agreed with me..
