I agree that they should never have done the news update. I wouldn't mind it if it was fitness/health related but not the junk that they keep promoting
I get the most annoying "news" stories on my lock screen, that I just don't care about. As a Libertarian I do not give 2 fluffs what Fox, CNN, Washington Post, etc say about anything political. I didn't download this app for that and it's gotten me close to deleting it because of it. I'm not even here to collect coins I use this almost exclusively as a step counter. I believe we should be able to filter the "news" we get sent. Rant ended
