However the snake made me deviate from my path on the D&L Trail.
Have a great weekend friends.

I've only encountered snakes twice in my life. One dead and one alive, stayed far away when I saw the live one but it was something.

Hi Seal. I was a good 8 feet away. Where I live we are surrounded by nature and wildlife. I have deers almost daily on my property, and I have a bear family 5hat visits when I cook. I find there are more snakes in the world or rather life, than in the actual wilderness.

That looks frightening.

Just a reptile minding it's business. It did take my rest stop, but I respect the reptile and do not approach or disturb. I have an incredible camera in my cell phone that allows me to capture images from far away. Instead I let him enjoy the spot, he did get there first after all. After I bid him goodbye I found an entire unmarked trail that led me to paradise.

Snakes help maintain biodiversity.
Not only do they play a role as predators, but they also serve as prey to a wide variety of mammals, birds, fish, amphibians, and other reptiles. Thank you for sharing your opinion. Since you hate snake and think it's icky, please describe what you do for our environment. 😢 How do you hate a creature of God. We as humans need to share this earth with animals. The snake did nothing to me.
